Madrid’s hottest new restaurants

It might lack a beach but it sure isn’t short of great restaurants. Madrid, Spain’s metropolitan capital should be a must trip for those who love food. Perhaps you’ve heard a local say “No is it impossible to eat badly en Madrid”/You aren’t allowed to eat poorly in Madrid. While I believe it is possible to have a terrible meal in Madrid I admit that you’d need to try really long and hard.

La Bonne Vivante spent a long weekend exploring all of its wonderful culinary options and can’t wait to bring you the best 2016 Restaurants in Madrid!

Arola

Sergi Arola, who was the former chef at the famous La Broche is somewhat of fame in the world of food and drink from Madrid along with the world beyond. With his bohemian swagger and tattoos, he’d immediately be regarded as the”enfant terrible” of Spanish cuisine. He’s been extremely successful and has earned him two Michelin points for his Madrid restaurant which is simply known as “Arola”. He’s even traveled to the Aps and opened the restaurant at Verbier’s exclusive W hotel. Arola’s Madrid branch can host roughly 20 people . Its intimate location adds to some of its appeal. The interior is clean and classic. We arrived at 9.30 pm the restaurant was nearly empty. For some time we thought whether Arola was at its pinnacle however we were disabused of our doubts until 11 pm when the restaurant was packed completely…and we were thinking that 9 pm was late for dinner. We ordered a five descrubimiento menu that began with a fun take on Tapas which Arola is known for. followed by four interesting, innovative dishes including fish and meat dishes and concluded our meal with a delicious strawberry sorbet composition. Arola is a good option for those who appreciate innovative Spanish cuisine that is a bit different.

Ten Con Ten

This busy, trendy restaurant is as elegant and stylish as its guests. The menu includes a wide range of exciting choices. We loved their signature Salad and delicious fish filled with truffle butter. End your feast with one of the restaurants fabulous signature cocktails. In the summertime, the restaurant has an amazing terrace. This is an excellent spot to combine the elegant ambience with top-quality comfort food.

Paraguas

Paraguas is a well-known option in Salamance. The restaurant is frequented by locals mainly however you might be able to meet the occasional visitor as well. The menu is very Madrileno and has a wide choice if fish dishes are your preference. Prices are reasonable, the atmosphere is warm and the service is among the finest that you can get in Madrid.

Quintin

If you’re looking for hot restaurants, this one is definitely hot right now. In addition to its restaurant Quintin is also home to a bar and the cheese counter is now a popular spot to have an aperitif with Mardid The ambiance is super comfortable and Mediterranean with a large array of fruits and vegetables put together in the dining room’s central. The food is great too. If you’re looking for a way to dive into the trendy Madrid scene here is where you should be. Calle Jorge Juan, 17, 28001 Madrid,
